Sustainability takes many varied forms, and many of us are already engaged in sustainability practices in the River Falls community. The purpose of this Pledge Commitment is to encourage everyone in our homes, schools, churches, workplaces, businesses, and organizations to consider ways they are and are not living sustainably. We are asking everyone to find actions they can take to be more sustainable on a daily basis in order to reimagine our community as a place where everyone sees sustainability as a shared responsibility. 

Sustainability is defined as the meeting of our present social, economic, and environmental justice needs without compromising the lives of future generations.
