Nature's Guardians: A Call to Protect What Sustains Us

Monica Bryand is a longtime environmental activist and the Executive Director of the Urban Bird Collective. She will share how her journey in sustainability has inspired new ways of connecting diverse communities with the outdoors. Through birding, conservation, and storytelling, she is helping change perceptions of who belongs in green spaces and why they matter. Monica will also showcase her project Climate Threatened and Endangered Birds of Minnesota, highlighting the urgent need to protect the species and the habitats that sustain us all.
