About the event
Join us on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:30-9 p.m. to promote awareness, increase understanding, inspire local change, and transform perspectives on the challenges faced by 1 in 3 households known as ALICE: assets limited, income constrained, employed. This event simulates the daily challenges faced by neighbors, friends, and family members—people who are often ignored since they live just above the federal poverty level.
Register for the event here, and if you are willing to be one of our volunteers, you can also register to volunteer at the same link. Questions can be sent to event facilitator kathleen.hunzer@uwrf.edu. Feel free to share this invitation with others to help us raise awareness. Co-sponsored by the UWRF Student Government Association, UWRF Honors Program, the UWRF Office of Sustainability, Our Neighbor’s Place, the United Way of St. Croix Valley, the Pierce County Hunger Prevention Council, and other community partners.
