Join your friends and neighbors to preserve and prepare food for Earth Fest 2026! Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about food waste recovery, food preservation techniques, and give back to your community. Systemic flaws in the grocery industry make food waste a built-in cost of doing business, fueling ongoing environmental harm and social inequity. Help us put a dent in this issue locally! We will take food that would otherwise go to the landfill and preserve and prepare it for the Earth Fest event. Other skills may include knife skills, par cooking, roasting, fermentation, recipe & garden hacks.
